This is a complaint filed under section 12 of Consumer Protection Act 1986 and the matter stood over to this date for consideration.After hearing the matter the commission passed an order as follows:
This is a complaint filed by the complainant against the opposite parties alleging deficiency in service on the part of the opposite parties. After admitting the complaint, notice was issued to the opposite parties. After accepting the notice, 2nd opposite party not appeared before this Commission and hence 2nd opposite party was declared ex parte. Since 23/11/2018 this case is adjourned only for the purpose of taking steps against the 1st opposite party by the complainant. Complainant was continuously absent and not taken any steps against the 1st opposite party. Notice was issued to the complainant to appear before this Commission to take steps against 1st opposite party and to further proceed with this complaint. After accepting the notice the complainant failed to appear before this Commission. In view of the continuous absence of the complainant and the inaction on the part of the complainant in taking steps against the 1st opposite party, inspite of giving sufficient opportunities, we find that the complainant is not interested to further proceed with this complaint.
In the result the complaint is dismissed. There will be no order as to cost.
A copy of this order as per the statutory requirements be forwarded to the parties free of charge and thereafter the file be consigned to the record room.
