          At the outset, Shri Charanjit Singh, authorized agent of the respondent has placed on record the signed statement made by respondent Yashpal Chopra where it has been stated that he had entered into compromise with the appellant and deposited an amount of Rs.40,681/- with the office of SDO, Model Town, UHBVNL, Yamuna Nagar vide CRR No.230, Page No.109, Serial No.74 dated 31.01.2019 in terms of the compromise dated 30.01.2019.  Further there is nothing due against him in respect of the amount in question.

2.      Learned counsel for the appellant states that the matter has been amicably settled by the parties and in pursuance of the settlement, the respondent had deposited the amount of Rs.40,681/-.   He states that in view of the same, he may be allowed to withdraw the appeal.

3.      The documents in relation to the settlement have been taken on record.

4.      Dismissed as withdrawn.
