CONSUMER COMPLAINT NO. 923  OF  2022

ORDER

1.        Authorization letter in favour of Sh.Satyavir Singh on behalf of complainant has been filed.

2.        At this stage, the parties have settled the matter. Vide his separate statement, Sh.Atul Goyal, Counsel for OP No.1 has stated that the matter has been settled between the parties and as per settlement, the OP No.1 shall pay a lumpsum amount of Rs.16,000/- to the complainant on or before 27.10.2023 in full and final settlement of the present matter, failing which the OP No.1 shall be liable to pay the aforesaid amount alongwith interest @ 10% p.a. from the date of filing of present consumer complaint. Vide his separate statement, Sh.Himanshu Saini, Complainant has admitted the aforesaid statement of counsel for OP No.1 and prayed that the present consumer complaint be disposed of in terms of aforesaid settlement. The complainant has also stated that since the matter has been settled with OP No.1, he withdraw the present consumer complaint against OP No.2.

3.        In view of the statements of complainant as well as counsel for OP No.1 and in terms of the settlement, the complaint stands disposed of by passing the following order:-

1. OP No.1 shall pay a lump sum amount of Rs.16,000/- to the complainant on or before 27.10.2023.
2. In case OP No.1 fails to pay the aforesaid amount within the stipulated period, then OP No.1 shall be liable to pay the same alongwith interest @ 10% p.a. from the date of filing of present consumer complaint i.e. 14.11.2022 till the payment is made.

4.        The present consumer complaint is dismissed as withdrawn against OP No.2.        

5.        Certified copies of this order be sent to the parties free of cost. The file be consigned.
