Azad Singh Vs. Xiaomi

Present:          Sh. Manjeet Singh, Advocate for complainant.

                        Sh. Kunal Juneja, Advocate for the opposite party No. 1 and 3.

                        OP No. 2 exparte.

                        File put up before Lok Adalat. Ld. counsel for the opposite party No. 1 & 3 made a statement that their full and final settlement has been effected with the complainant in Rs.14,500/-(Rupees fourteen thousand five hundred only) and the same will be paid to the complainant within 45 days. The complainant will have to return the old handset and accessories to the company and the mobile should not be damaged or liquefied.

                        Ld. counsel for the complainant made a statement that he agrees with the above statement and has no objection to decide the case accordingly.

                        In view of the statements made above by both parties, present complaint is hereby disposed of with direction to the opposite party No.1 & 3 to pay the alleged amount of Rs.14,500/-(Rupees fourteen thousand five hundred only) to the complainant within 45 days, failing which opposite party No.1 &3 shall be liable to pay interest @ 9% p.a from today i.e. 26.11.2022 till its realization to the complainant. The complainant is directed to return the old handset and accessories to the company and the mobile should not be damaged or liquefied.

            Parties shall be bound by their respective statements. Copy of this order be supplied to the parties free of cost.

                        File be consigned to the record room after due compliance.
