Consumer Complaint No.523 of 2012

ORDER

 

            Sh.Raman Walia,Counsel for OP, has made the following statement, recorded separately;-

“The OPs offer to pay a sum of Rs.85,000/- to the complainant in full & final settlement of the dispute. I offer a cheque bearing No.297984, dated 04.02.2013 amounting to Rs.85,000/- drawn in favour of Jaspreet Kaur on Axis Bank Ltd. in full & final settlement of the dispute.”

 

            Ms.Jaspreet Kaur,Complainant, has accepted the offer and made the following statement, recorded separately;-

“I accept the offer given by counsel for OPs. I have received cheque bearing No.297984, dated 04.02.2013 amounting to Rs.85,000/- drawn in my favour (Jaspreet Kaur) on Axis Bank Ltd. in full & final settlement of the dispute. Now I have no grouse against the OPs. So, I do not press this complaint. It be dismissed as withdrawn. However, I reserve my right to file a fresh complaint if the aforesaid cheque is dishonoured.”

 

            In view of the statement made by the complainant, this complaint is dismissed as withdrawn. However, the complainant shall be at liberty to file a fresh complaint in case the aforesaid cheque of Rs.85,000/- is dishonoured.

            Certified copy of this order be communicated to the parties free of cost. After compliance file be consigned.
