File taken up today, i.e. on 13.5.2023 in the National Lok Adalat, on the application filed by Counsel for the applicant to the effect that compromise have been effected between the parties, so complainant wants to withdraw this case.

Statement of Sh.Arun Kumar Mangotra, Authorised Representative on behalf of Complainant along with Counsel Sh.Atul Mehta, Advocate recorded to the effect that the matter has been compromised between the parties for a sum of Rs.75,000/-. As per the compromise, the OPs have given Cheque bearing No.425963 dated 22.6.2023 for Rs.30,000/- and Cheque bearing No.425964 dated 22.7.2023 for Rs.45,000/-, both cheques drawn on Axis Bank, Mohali. Today, he has received the above said two Cheques from the Counsel for OPs. He withdraws the present complaint, subject to clearance of above said two Cheuqes. In case, the above said Cheques get dis-honoured, he shall be entitled to file execution against OPs to receive above said amount i.e. Rs.75,000/- from the OPs. So, the award may kindly be passed accordingly.

Further Statement of Counsel for OPs No.1 & 2 recorded that he admits the statement given by Auth.Rep. on behalf of the Complainant.

In view of statements suffered by Authorised Representative on behalf of complainant along with his Counsel as well as Counsel for the OPs No.1 & 2 and the fact that the good sense has prevailed upon the parties and they have settled the matter amicably. So accordingly, the award is passed for Rs.75,000/-. Cheques have been given today, subject to clearance. Copy of the award be supplied to the parties, free of costs, as per rules. File be consigned to the record room.
