CONSUMER COMPLAINT NO. 66  OF  2019

ORDER

     Case taken up through video conferencing in the light of Covid-19 pandemic situation and as per instructions issued by Hon’ble State Commission, U.T. Chandigarh.

     E-mail received on behalf of OPs that the case has been settled and as per settlement, the OP company has paid an amount of Rs.1,05,000/- by way of two cheques i.e. cheque No.396598 dated 25.07.2021 for an amount of Rs.52,500/- and cheque No.396599 dated 25.08.2021 for an amount of Rs.52,500/- to the counsel for complainant towards full and final refund. Copy of receipt and cheques are annexed with e-mail. E-mail also received from Sh.Pankaj Chandgothia, Counsel for Complainant that the dispute has been settled between the parties and OPs have issued two post dated cheques totaling Rs.1,05,000/- in full and final settlement of the claim and prayed that case may be disposed of accordingly. Contents of the e-mails confirmed from the Counsel for Complainant as well as Senior Legal Executive of OPs through virtual hearing. In view of this, the present consumer complaint is disposed of being settled, subject to realization of cheques.

     Certified copies of this order be sent to the parties free of cost. The file be consigned.
