ORDER

BY PRESIDENT THIRU. G.VINOBHA, M.A.,B.L.,

          This complaint is filed by the complainant u/s 12 of the Consumer Protection Act.1986.

          The complainant filed this complaint against the opposite party to pay the complainant Rs.13,75,000/- as damages being the value of articles damaged with interest at 24% p.a. from the date of complainant till date of payment and to pay the complainant Rs.1,00,000/- being the compensation for retaining and returning 35 boxes in breach with interest at 24% p.a. from the date of complainant till the date of payment and to pay the complainant Rs.30,500/- being the compensation and refund for the trip and flight charges from Singapore to Chennai for return of 35 boxes which was wrongfully detained by the opposite party 24% p.a. from the date of complainant till the date of payment and to pay a sum of Rs.2,50,000/- as compensation for pain and sufferings as the complaint and his family were forced on external sources for months without house hold article and proper shelter in Singapore due the delay in delivery by the opposite party and to pay a sum of Rs.2,00,000/- toward damages of articles wrongfully detained and retained of 35  boxes by the opposite party and to pay a sum of Rs.25,000/- cost for the complainant.

Complainant absent. Notice served on complainant and complainant counsel. No representation. Complainant counsel absent.  Already sufficient chances given.  Complainant has no interest in prosecuting the matter. Hence the complaint is dismissed for default.
