ORDER

     The matter has amicably been settled between the parties. Sh. Amit Kumar, Senior Legal Executive for OPs has tendered a post dated Cheque bearing No. 112451 dated 06.05.2019 drawn on AXIS Bank Limited, Sector 16, Chandigarh, as full and final settlement, which has been received by Sh. Vinod Kumar, Husband of Complainant. Copy of the Cheque, along with acknowledgement has been retained on record. It is made clear that in case, the Cheque, on presentation, gets dishonoured, the OPs shall be liable to pay the sum of Rs.1,14,000/- through Demand Draft along with a penalty amount of Rs.10,000/- within 15 days from the date of dishonouring of the Cheque. The Cheque in the sum of Rs.1,35,600/- which was handed over by the Complainant to OPs during 2018 shall be returned to the Complainant within 15 days from today. In case, due to some reasons, the OPs could not able to trace out the Cheque, it shall be the responsibility of the OPs to ensure that the Cheque is not misused in any manner. In case, the payment is still not made, this order shall be treated as an executable decree and the Complainant shall be at liberty to get this order executed by filing execution application.

     Certified copies of this order be sent to the parties free of charge. File after its due completion be consigned to record room.
