ORDER
The Senior Legal Executive for OPs has handed over to the complainant post dated cheque for an amount of Rs.1,40,000/- bearing cheque No.112826 dated 12.04.2019. Complainant has received this post dated cheque of Rs.1,40,000/- in her favour towards full and final settlement in this consumer complaint. Both the parties want to make statement. Recorded and placed on file alongwith photocopy of aforesaid post dated cheque. In view of the statement of complainant, the present consumer complaint is dismissed as withdrawn being settled. Statement of the parties recorded today shall form a part of this order.      Lok Adalat on its own motion makes it clear that in case the aforesaid cheque is bounced, this order shall be treated as executable decree and the complainant shall be at liberty to get the same executed by filing execution and for the bounced cheque,OPs shall pay Rs.5,000/- as penalty.      Certified copies of this order be sent to the parties free of cost. The file be consigned.

Statement of Mrs.Rimpa Mishra d/o Sh.Surinder Thakur, Complainant in person.

 

 

The matter has been settled between the parties. I have received post dated cheque for an amount of Rs.1,40,000/- bearing cheque No.112826 dated 12.04.2019 in my favour (Rimpa Mishra) from Sh.Amit Kumar, Senior Legal Executive for OPs towards full and final settlement in this consumer complaint. Now I do not want to pursue this consumer complaint further. Hence, it may be dismissed as withdrawn being settled, subject to realization of aforesaid cheque.
