In view of the statements made by Sh.Amandeep Singh, Executive/Authorized Representative of OPs and Sh.Varun Mehta, Complainant in person on 09.02.2023, the matter has been settled. In view of the statements, the complaint is disposed off as settled. The statements made by the parties shall be deemed to be a part of this award and the parties shall be bound by the same. The award is accordingly passed.      Certified copies of this order be sent to the parties free of cost. The file be consigned.

Statement of Sh.Amandeep s/o Sh.Jagbir Singh, aged 26 years, Executive/Authorized Representative of OPs.

on SA

 

Stated that the matter has been settled between the parties with the term that OPs shall pay lump sum amount of Rs.1,26,000/- plus US $ 4300 to the complainant towards full and final settlement, out of which three post dated cheques of Rs.42,000/- each (total Rs.1,26,000/-), the details of which are as under, have been handed over to the complainant today;-

1.   Cheque No.426874 dated 24.02.2023 for Rs.42,000/-

2.   Cheque No.426876 dated 24.03.2023 for Rs.42,000/-

3.   Cheque No.426877 dated 24.04.2023 for Rs.42,000/-

(All cheques drawn on Axis Bank Ltd. in favour of complainant)

 

Further, the amount of US $ 4300 will be paid in two installments, i.e. first installment of US $ 2150 will be paid on or before 25.03.2023 and second installment of US $ 2150 will be paid on or before 25.04.2023. The aforesaid amount of US $ shall be paid in the form of cheque or draft to the complainant. It is also made clear that in case of any default in aforesaid payment, the defaulted amount shall be paid alongwith interest @ 12% p.a. from the date of filing of the present consumer complaint.
