CONSUMER COMPLAINT NO. 1014  OF  2019

ORDER

1.        Case taken up today in National Lok Adalat. The parties have compromised the matter. E-mail received on behalf of OP stating that as per settlement, the OP company has paid an amount of Rs.25,000/- to the complainant through cheque and further the complainant has already received an amount of Rs.1,26,000/- from OP before filing the complaint. It has been further stated that as per the settlement, an amount of US $ 4700 is to be paid by M/s GCBC, out of which an amount of US $ 2350 has already been refunded to the complainant on 29.11.2021 and the remaining amount of US $ 2350 would be paid in the end of December 2021. Counsel for complainant has stated that the complainant has received Rs.25,000/- but amount of US $ 2350 has not been received. The representative of OP states that he will verify the same and if US $ 2350 has not been refunded to the complainant, the same alongwith remaining amount of US $ 2350 will be paid to the complainant by the end of December 2021. Counsel for complainant agrees to the same. We order accordingly. It is made clear that in case the amount of US $ 4700 is not paid to the complainant by the OP on or before 31.12.2021, then the OP shall pay extra Rs.15,000/- to the complainant and the complainant shall also be at liberty to file an execution. This complaint is disposed of accordingly.   

2.        Certified copies of this order be sent to the parties free of cost. The file be consigned.
