Parmpal Singh Vs WWICS & anr.

File taken up today, i.e. on 13.5.2023 in the National Lok Adalat. Statement of Sh.Parmpal Singh, Complainant in person has already been recorded on 24.4.2023 that the matter has been compromised between the parties for a sum of Rs.80,000/-. As per the compromise, the OPs has given Cheque bearing No.427200 dated 18.8.2023 and Cheque bearing No.427201 dated 18.9.2023, both cheques amounting of Rs.40,000/- drawn on Axis Bank, Mohali. Today, he has received the above said two Cheques from the Counsel for OPs. As such, the present complaint may kindly be dismissed as withdrawn being compromised.

So accordingly, in view of statement suffered by the Complainant in person, the present complaint is dismissed as withdrawn being compromised. If the above said Cheques bounces, the complainant shall have right to file fresh complaint. File be consigned to the record room.
