JUDGMENT /FINAL ORDER
Complainant above named filed this complaint against the aforesaid Opposite Party U/s 35 of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 praying for direction for restoration of electric connection, compensation amounting to Rs. 1,00,000/-, further compensation amounting to Rs. 1,00,000/- for mental agony and harassment and other reliefs.
He alleged that Complainant is a consumer. O.P stopped to sending bill since October 2022. Complainant went to the office of O.P and complained regarding issue of electricity bill. O.P issued one bill from 23rd October 2023 to 23rd December 2023 which amounts to Rs. 24,372/- and after three days of the payment of the said bill men and agent of O.P came to the house of the Complainant and disconnected the service connection. Hence, the Complainant filed this case.
Decisions with Reasons:-
Case was admitted on 28/12/2023.
Thereafter 20/06/2024 was fixed for hearing the petition U/s 38 (8) which registered as M.A. 210/2023. But on that date Complainant was absent without any steps.
Complainant was asked to file Show Cause by 09/07/2024 as to why necessary order shall not be passed against him vide order no. 10 dated 20/06/2024.
But on the next date i.e. on 09/07/2024 Complainant did not take any steps nor filed Show Cause as per order no. 10 dated 20/06/2024.
Complainant did not file any original documents before this Commission in support of his case and for that reason we are unable to come to a decision.
The conduct of the Complainant indicates that he is not willing to proceed with this case. In this situation we have no other alternative but to dismiss the case.
In the result, present case fails.

That the present case be and the same vide no. CC/422/2023 is dismissed on contest against the Opposite Parties but without any order as to costs.
