ORDER

                        This is an application filed by the complainant for release of amount deposited by OPs before this Forum. It is stated that OPs deposited a sum of Rs.83,000/- before this Forum in compliance of the order dated 27.01.2010 passed by the Hon’ble State Commission in Appeal No.21 of 2010. The appeal filed by the OPs was dismissed on 26.10.2010. It is further stated that the OPs has now compromised the matter with the complainant vide agreement/compromise deed dated 18.1.2011 and OPs has agreed/decided not to file appeal/revision against the order dated 26.10.2010 and have no objection if the amount of Rs.83,000/- deposited with this Forum is released/refunded to the complainant. Copy of the agreement dated 18.1.2011 and affidavit of Managing Director of OP to that effect are annexed with the application. It is, therefore, prayed by the applicant/complainant that amount of Rs.83,000/- deposited with this Forum may kindly be disbursed/released to the applicant/complainant.

                        The office has reported that amount of Rs.80,000/- vide draft dated 16.2.2010 and Rs.3000/- vide draft dated 25.2.2010, total Rs.83,000/-, is deposited in the A/c of District Forum. Accordingly, the sum of Rs.83,000/- deposited by the OPs with this Forum in compliance of the orders of the Hon’ble State Commission be paid to the complainant. The office is directed to issue a cheque for the like amount in favour of the complainant. In view of the above, the application stands disposed of.

                        Copies of this order free of cost be supplied to the parties.  The file be consigned.
