          Today is fixed for showing cause by the appellant.

          It appears for order no. 3 dt. 22.05.2023 that Advocate, Mr. Ajay Kumar Chakraborty appeared on behalf of appellant on that date and he submitted that the appellant was not available. So the Ld. Advocate was not in a position to file any petition showing cause.

          Today is also the appellant is absent without any steps.

          So, it appears that the appellant lost his interest to proceed with the appeal.

          Accordingly, A/32/2023 is dismissed for non prosecution. Impugned order dt. 06.01.2023 passed by Ld. DCDRF, Baruipur dismissing the CC87/2020 is upheld as there is no illegality in the order. Order of stay, if there is any, in connection with the present appeal stands vacated.

          Let a copy of this order be sent to the Ld. DCDRF, South 24 Parganas, Baruipur for information and necessary action.

          The Joint Registrar of this Commission is directed to do the needful in this regard.
