Today is fixed for showing cause by the complainant as to why the present complaint shall not be dismissed for non-prosecution.

Ld. Counsel for the OP Nos. 1, 2 & 3 files hazira. No step taken by the complainant. None appears on behalf of the complainant during its call. No show cause is filed on behalf of the complainant.

It is evident from the records that the complainant did not take any step on four consecutive dates. So, the complainant was directed to show cause as to why the instant complaint shall not be dismissed for default. Today the complainant is absent and also did not take step.

Under such circumstances, we are of the opinion that either the grievance of the complainant has already been redressed or the complainant has lost interest to proceed with the complaint further. Therefore, we have no other option but to dismiss the complaint for non-prosecution.

Hence, it is

that the present Consumer Complaint being No. 130/2016 be and the same is dismissed for non-prosecution without any cost.

            Let plain copies of this order be supplied to the parties free of cost as per provisions of law.
