1.               The Complainant ordered for a finger print device through the online Platform of the Opposite party paying Rs. 1999/- on 07.09.21.

2.               Since the delivery did not happen in time, the complainant cancelled the order, but the refund of the amount has not happened till the date of the complaint in spite of her follow up with the opposite party and even after lodging a complainant with National Consumer Helpline. Hence, she approached this Commission seeking order for the refund of the amount as well as a compensation of Rs. 3000/- and cost of Rs. 2000/-.

3.              Notice was issued to the opposite party in the address given by the complainant, but postal acknowledgment has not been received so far.  Hence the complainant was asked to provide the e-mail id of the opposite party. This has not been provided by her so far.

4.               Since the complainant has been continuously absent for the proceedings on 13.05.2022, 30.05.2022, 01.07.2022 and 11.08.2022 the  complaint  is taken for orders based on merits.

5.               In the absence of notice to the opposite party and their version, this Commission is not in a position to examine the merits of the case.  Further it is not clear whether the matter has been settled between the parties because of the follow up done by the complainant before filing this complaint. Complainant has also failed to comply with the direction of this Commission

             Hence the complaint is dismissed.

Pronounced  in open court on this the 11th day of November, 2022.
