ORDER

At the time of arguments, the matter has amicably been settled between the parties.

                   It is stated by Counsel for the appellant that the compensation awarded is on the higher side.

                   Be that as it may, Counsel for the respondent/complainant very fairly stated that let the compensation be reduced from Rs.25,000/- to Rs.15,000/-, keeping the amount awarded towards litigation intact. He further states that if Rs.25,000/- is paid by the appellant to the respondent/complainant, the grievance of the respondent/complainant shall stands redressed.

                   We appreciate the gesture shown.

                   In view of above, this appeal is disposed of, on giving an undertaking by the Counsel for the appellant that an amount of Rs.25,000/- shall be paid through a demand draft to the respondent/complainant within 15 days from today. We make it very clear that if the amount  is not so paid, the respondent/complainant shall be entitled to get interest @9% p.a. on the amount awarded till the time of making the payment.

                   Certified copies of the order be sent to the parties free of charge.
