Challenge in these proceedings is to the order dated 24.10.2011 passed by the Bihar State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Patna (for short he State Commission) in Rev. No. 19 / 2011. The revision was filed against an order dated 24.01.2011 passed by the District Consumer Redressal Forum at Ara thereby partly allowing the complaint with certain directions to the Housing Board. The Housing Board instead of filing an appeal preferred a revision after 9 months delay which has been dismissed by the State Commission by giving detailed reasons. The view taken by the State Commission is strictly in accordance with the settled legal position. We also notice that the present proceedings have been filed after undue delay of 57 days which is not satisfactorily explained. Looked from any angle, there is no scope of interference by this Commission in its supervisory jurisdiction. The revision petition is accordingly dismissed on both the counts.
