ORDER

Today, in Court, towards full and final settlement of all claims raised by the respondents/complainants, Counsel for the appellants has handed over a demand draft bearing No.492070 dated 17.05.2018 for an amount of Rs.2 Lacs, in the name of respondent No.1/complainant No.1, namely, ‘Vimla Devi’ to the Counsel for the respondents/complainants against receipt. Photocopy of the said demand draft has been retained on file.

                Sh. Gaurav Bhardwaj, Advocate, Counsel for the respondents states that Sh. Pritam Chand, respondent No.2/complainant No.2 has no objection for making payment in the name of his wife ‘Vimla Devi’. He has accepted this draft towards full and final claim and states that no grievance/claim of respondents/complainants remains/left against the appellants/opposite parties.

                In view of above, this appeal stands disposed of.

                We make it very clear that the findings given by District Forum-II, U.T., Chandigarh vide order dated 11.10.2017 passed in Consumer Complaint No.325 of 2016 will not be read against the appellants/opposite parties in any other case.

                Certified copy of this order be sent to the parties free of charge.
