For delay of 25 months in processing the pension papers of the respondent/complainant, the petitioner has been asked to pay Rs.50,000/- as compensation.  Counsel for the petitioner does not dispute that there was a delay of 25 months in processing the file but contends that it was not because of petitioner’s fault. 

          We do not find any substance in this submission.  The finding recorded by the fora below clearly points out that the delay was on the part of the petitioner in processing the pension papers of the respondent.  The file of the respondent kept lying on the table of the petitioner for 25 months. 

We do not find any infirmity in the orders passed by the fora below.  Dismissed.
