            This is a complaint filed u/s.12 of Consumer Protection Act, 1986 for :

  1. Directing the opposite parties either jointly or severally, to refund the complainant a sum of Rs.12/- towards the cost of the infested product.
  2. Directing the opposite parties either jointly or severally, pay the complainant compensation of Rs.3,00,000/- for the physical hardship, mental agony and monetary loss caused to him due to their selling a defective product to him and Unfair Trade Practice as per section 14(d) of the C.P. Act.

 

 

  1. Directing the first opposite party to cease manufacture "Badam Pal" as per section 14(1)(ha) C.P Act and not to offer the hazardous goods for sale to public without complying with the food safety law as per Section 14(1)(h) of C.P. Act.
  2. Directing the opposite parties to pay the complainant a sum of Rs.5000/- as cost and litigation expenditure towards this complaint.

 

Today the complaint was called.  The complainant and the opposite parties called absent. No representation made. No interest shown by the complainant to proceed the matter.   Hence this complaint is hereby dismissed for default. No cost.
