This is a complaint filed under section 12 of Consumer Protection Act 1986 and the matter stood over to this date for consideration.After hearing the matter the commission passed an order as follows:
This is a complaint filed by the complainant against the opposite parties alleging deficiency in service on the part of the opposite parties. After admitting the complaint notice was issued to the opposite parties. 3rd opposite party entered appearance, 2nd opposite party called absent and set ex parte and the case was posted for taking steps against the 1st opposite party. When the case came up for consideration today 3rd opposite party filed a memo stating that the matter is settled. A letter signed by the complainant is also produced before this Commission. In the said letter the complainant has specifically stated that the matter is settled to his satisfaction and he is not further willing to proceed with this complaint. The memo of settlement accepted and recorded. In view of the settlement arrived at between the parties to the dispute, we find that this is a fit case to be dismissed as settled.
In the result complaint is dismissed. There will be no order as to cost.
A copy of this order as per the statutory requirements be forwarded to the parties free of charge and thereafter the file be consigned to the record room.
