JUDGMENT
MR. JUSTICE VIRENDRA SINGH, PRESIDENT (ORAL)
Sri Rajendra Singh, learned Counsel for the appellant is present. A perusal of the record shows that the alleged notice seems to have been withdrawn and it has been held by the Electricity Department that there is no dues of any type lying against the complainant/appellant. It is also revealed on record that the electric connection of the complainant/appellant was disconnected permanently in the year 2008 and in our view since disconnection of the electric connection, the appellant/complainant is not the consumer as per provisions under the Consumer Protection Act and if any notice has been sent by the Electricity Department to the complainant due to which the complainant alleged mental tension and problem of heart attack,

such grievance cannot be redressed by the authorities under Consumer Protection Act there being the complainant not a consumer since 2008. Hence, we find no substance in this appeal which is liable to be dismissed at the time of hearing on admission of this appeal.
ORDER
The aforesaid appeal is hereby dismissed.
