Sh. V.K. Srivastava, learned counsel for the applicant / decree holder is present.

This execution application has been filed by the applicant / decree holder, seeking compliance of judgment and order dated 31.01.2024 passed by this Commission in consumer complaint No. 15 of 2018; Sh. Vinod Singh Vs. United India Insurance Company Limited and others.

In compliance of the aforesaid judgment and order passed by this Commission, the opposite party No. 1 / judgment debtor No. 1, has deposited an amount of Rs. 34,00,878/- before this Commission on 13.05.2024 vide demand draft No. 931845 dated 07.05.2024 issued by Axis Bank Ltd., Centralised Collection and Payment Hub (CCPH), in full satisfaction.

Vide order dated 13.05.2024 passed on the application submitted on behalf of opposite party No. 1 / judgment debtor No. 1 – United India Insurance Company Limited (Paper No. 21), the said demand draft has been directed to be deposited in the account of the Commission, as per rules.

Learned counsel for the applicant / decree holder has stated that since the opposite party No. 1 / judgment debtor No. 1 has deposited the entire decretal amount in terms of judgment and order dated 31.01.2024 passed by this Commission, hence the execution application be struck off in full satisfaction.

Accordingly, the execution application is struck off in full satisfaction of the decree passed by this Commission.  No order as to costs.

File be consigned to the record room along with copy of this order.
