We allow this appeal and set aside the impugned order dated 30/10/2013 and allow the complaint for Rs. 14,200/- in terms of prayer(a); and Rs. 10,000/- in terms of prayer(b). The complainant is also held entitled for the costs of the complaint as well as this appeal which are quantified at Rs. 10,000/-. The amounts herein ordered to be paid shall be paid within a period of 30 days failing which they shall carry interest at the rate of 9% until payment.
