ORDER

No one appears for the petitioner.

We have heard counsel for the respondent UTI and have considered his submissions. He has invited our attention to a decision of this Commission dated 22nd November, 2011 passed in R.P. No.2828/2007 Vijay Shakti vs. Unit Trust of India & Anr. as also to the decision of the Supreme Court in Special Leave Petition No. 4320/2002 which was filed against the order of the Rajasthan High Court. This Commission in the above referred case upheld the finding and order of the State Commission holding that there was no deficiency in service on the part of the UTI even in regard to not paying the redumption amount expeditiously after the termination of the scheme on the premise that it was for the unit holder to seek

such a redumption as per the instructions given in the notice terminating the scheme. We are, therefore, satisfied that the impugned order passed by the State Commission cannot be faltered and does not suffer from any illegality, material irregularity or jurisdictional error which calls for any interference by this Commission.

       Revision petition is accordingly dismissed.
