             On 14.02.2023, proceedings were adjourned to 17.05.2023. On 17.05.2023, no one had appeared on behalf of the complainant, either in person or through any Advocate.

            This is complaint under Section 12 of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986, being instituted prior to 20.07.2020 and same could have been dismissed in default, on account of, non appearance of the complainant. However, in order to avoid any sort of prejudice to the complainant, proceedings were adjourned to 31.05.2023, for awaiting appearance of the complainant or his counsel. No separate notice was required to be issued to complainant or his counsel, as every order passed by this Commission was being promptly uploaded on internet website known as Confonet, which could be read by any person from the general public.

            This case has been called several times since morning, but the complainant failed to appear on today also, before this Commission either in person or through any advocate. It is already 3.40 PM. Further wait is unjustified. Complaint is dismissed in default, on account of, non appearance of complainant. File be consigned to the records.
