No one is present on behalf of the petitioner. The defects pointed out in the petition by the Registry have also not been removed. Still, the petition has been considered on merits. There are concurrent findings of the District Forum as well as State Commission on points of fact and the amount awarded by the District Forum (“Rs. 900/- plus Rs. 500/- compensation”) has been confirmed by the State Commission in appeal by the petitioner. There is no ground for interference with the impugned order under the provisions of section 24(a) of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986. The revision petition is dismissed.
