Saroj Bala vs. UHBVNL.

              Settlement report from Mediation Cell received, in order to identify the same Ex.P-1 is marked on it.

              In view of the settlement Ex.P.1, without commenting any adverse comment on the act and conduct of any of the parties, without touching to the merits of the case, matter being amicably settled.  However, to make the settlement legally workable, certain confusions are required to be removed and if it is removed, no prejudice will be caused to either of the parties.

            In view of the above, the complaint is partly accepted against the opponent, the opponent will install the check meter, at the cost of the complainant within the period of one from the date of deposit of cost of cost by the complainant. Further, on the basis of six months consumption, fresh bill will be issued by the opponent against the complainant, after adjusting the paid amount by the complainant for the disputed period, without any interest, surcharge or fine. The complainant will pay the amount in two equal bi-monthly installments and shall pay the current bill on the due date.  The parties are left to bear their own costs of litigation. Certified copy of this order be supplied to the parties, free of costs. File be consigned to the records.
