ORDER

CC No.55 of 2020.

Alok Garg     Vs.    UHBVNL.

 

Present:        Sh. SS Saini, Adv. for the complainant.

                     Sh. Balinder Singh, Adv. for the opponents. 

                    

                    The matter has been settled between the parties before the Mediation Cell. Settlement dated 21.08.2023 Ex.P1 received from the Coordinator, Mediation Cell of this Commission. The settlement Ex.P1 is workable. Keeping in view the settlement Ex.P1, the complaint is, partly, accepted with following terms and conditions:-

1.        The opponents will correct the bill showing adjustment of credit amount of the complainant as shown in the bill dated  07.10.2019, bill No.806914436075 for Rs.1,15,362/-.
2.             The opponents will supply the detailed calculation sheet to the complainant for the disputed period for his satisfaction.
3.             The units consumed will be divided monthly to give the benefit for the lower rate of slab to the complainant as per tariff.
4.             No interest/fine/surcharge will be charged for the disputed period from the complainant.
5.             After overhauling the account of the complainant, the opponents will issue a new bill on or before 30^th September, 2023.
6.             The complainant will pay the balance amount of the new bill, if any, in three equal monthly installments.

 

                   Due to peculiarity of the facts, parties are left to bear their own cost of litigation. File be consigned to the records.
