The complainant is absent . The complainant is in CRPF and he is a officer and posted as Nepal Building Tower , Jamshedpur . He has filed the complainant against HDFC and the case is limited to the grievances of demanding extra premium of Rs. 4752/- . As the complainant is posted in Armed Forces and he had got extra risk .Earlier the complainant had paid the charges for term insurance and for critical illness rider insurance , but he was sent a notice to deposit Rs. 4752/- as extra premium on the ground of his profession having more risk. It is also further case that the complainant had submitted that he had received back the premium . The grievance of the complainant is that the Op has been discriminating the consumers on the ground of general risk and extra risk being in Armed Forces , but as the complainant had received back the premium he did not continue to be a consumer , hence the members have taken the view that the complainant is no more the consumer of the O.P. and hence this case is not entertainable and this complainant is rejected under Sec. 12(3) of the Consumer Protection Act .
