O R D E R

 

        Complainant has filed the present complaint against the respondents alleging herself to be the consumer of the respondents vide account no.S111A233048. The complainant was surprised to receive the bill dated 5.9.2015 for the period 7.6.2015 to 30.7.2015 for 53 days with old reading as 1264 and new meter reading as 71749 total consumed units 70485 and further form 30.7.2015 to 7.8.2015 period 8 days, old reading 196 and new meter reading 2053 consumed units 1857 to the tune of Rs.628040/-.  The complainant has alleged the said bill to be wrong and illegal.  So, She has come to this Forum and has filed the present case.

2.       The respondents appeared and has filed the detailed reply.  But on 15.3.2016, when the case was fixed for arguments, Shri Naresh Kumar, LDC/CA UHBVN Ltd. Industrial Area, Sonepat has come present before this Forum and has made a statement that in the month of 8/2015 due to wrong entry posting, the wrong bill was prepared and on the basis of the record, they will issue the bill to the complainant for 789 units.

3.       We have heard both the learned counsel for the parties at length.  All the documents have been perused very carefully and minutely.  Statement of Naresh Kumar LDC/CA has also been perused.

         After taking into consideration the statement made by Shri Naresh Kumar LDC/C A, the respondents are hereby directed to issue fresh bill to the complainant without charging any surcharge as per statement made by their official Shri Naresh Kumar.  Similarly, the complainant is also directed to deposit the said bill with the respondents.  Since the complainant has to file the present complaint against the respondents unnecessarily, the respondents are hereby directed to compensate the complainant to the tune of Rs.one thousand and this amount is also directed to be deducted from the future bills issued to the complainant.

         With these observations, findings and directions, the present complaint stands disposed off.

         Certified copy of this order he provided to both the parties free of cost.

         File be consigned after due compliance.
