Complaint under section-12 of Consumer Protection Act, 1986

                             Opposite party ex-parte  vide order 08.07.2024.

ORDER:  

                             Today the case fixed for ex-parte arguments.  Instead of arguing the case, counsel for the complainant has suffered a statement that “I received payment in the sum of Rs.15,500/- on dated 7.6.2024 as per Ex. K and now I press for litigation charges, interest and harassment charges.”

2.                          On the basis of the statement of  Shri Dharampal Jindal, counsel for the complainant, the Commission is of the opinion that after filing of the complaint, the complainant received payment of Rs.15,500/- on 7.6.2024. The complainant  is harassed by the Act of opposite party  Hence, opposite party is deficient in service on their part.  Hence the complaint is disposed off with the direction to opposite party to pay Rs.1100/- as compensation on account of mental tension, agony and harassment.  Opposite party is also directed to pay Rs.1100/- as litigation expenses to the complainant. Compliance of this order be made within 30 days from the date of receipt of copy of order.  Copy of this order be given to the parties  concerned free of costs and file be consigned to record room.
