Letter dated 5.1.2010 with annexure be taken on file. By the order dated 29.4.2005, the District Forum allowed the complaint filed by Sagamani with direction to the petitioner and respondent No. 2- Oriental Insurance co. Ltd. to pay the insured amount of Rs. 1,00,000/-, pay Rs. 10,000/- towards compensation for mental agony and cost of Rs. 1,000/-, totaling Rs. 1,11,000/-. Petitioner was ex-parte before the District Forum. Against Forum’s order, the petitioner filed appeal which was dismissed by the State Commission by the order dated 37.2008. It is this order against which the petitioner has filed this revision. Shri Kumar points out that the Insurance Co. has made payment of the entire awarded amount to the LRs of the complainant and he places reliance on the said letter together with annexure. In view of this payment, the revision petition stands disposed of. Deposited amount of Rs. 25,000/-, if any, be released in favour of the petitioner by the fora below.
