03.01.2022- No one appears for the appellant. The appeal is filed against the order dated 14.08.2019, passed by the learned District Consumer Forum, Samastipur in Complaint Case No. 56 of 2014. The appellant filed a complaint alleging for issuance of incorrect bill for mobile no. 9431255066. The appellant/complainant stated that the bill for the month of January was of Rs. 677/- and the bill for subsequent months were incorrect. So much so the bill for the month of June 2004 was Rs. 77,204/-. The complainant stated that he did not use the mobile for any commercial purpose and bill seems apparently fault and excessive. The complainant however approached the learned District Consumer Forum in the year 2014.

          The learned District Consumer Forum, Samastipur, dismissed the complaint being barred by limitation. We also find that the complainant approached the learned District Consumer Forum after 10 years of disconnection of his mobile. There is no cogent explanation for the same, appeal is accordingly dismissed with liberty to the complainant to approach the respondent in this connection.
