The present disputes arises out of the complaint petition filed by the above named complainant alleging deficiency in service against afore mentioned O.Ps for non disbursement of amount which had deposited in the postal account.
On being noticed the O.Ps appeared and filed written version. In the written version in para- 4 the O.Ps submitted that the accrued balance in R.K.Nagar Sub-Post office, Rayagada S.B. account No. 7677219 amounting to Rs. 82,354.00 with admissible interest held in the name of the deceased spouse of the complainant has since been sanctioned in her favour. Hence the O.Ps prays the forum to dismiss the complaint petition against the O.Ps.
Heard from the parties.
On perusal of the written version it is revealed that the O.Ps submitted that the accrued balance in R.K.Nagar Sub-Post office, Rayagada S.B. account No. 7677219 amounting to Rs. 82,354.00 with admissible interest held in the name of the deceased spouse of the complainant has since been sanctioned in her favour. Further the O.Ps has sent letter to the complainant vide their Lr. No. SB/4- 356 /2016 dt. 16.6.2016 marked as Annexure-I stating there in that the amount mentioned together with interest which has since been accrued thereon the amount will be paid to you making application direct to the O.P. concerned on surrendering the original sanction order. We found there is no deficiency in service on the part of the O.Ps.
Hence to meet the ends of justice, the following order is passed.
ORDER.
. The complainant is ordered to contact the O.P. No.1 to get the amount. Accordingly the case is closed. Parties are left to bear their own cost.
