Complainant appeared directly. Opposite party appeared through counsel and filed a cheque for Rs.600/- stating that which is security amount paid by the complainant for telephone No.288143. Complainant submitted that another telephone No.253049 is also surrendered by the complainant and the amount of the security is not refunded. The counsel for the opposite party submitted that the details of the security is not given to the opposite party. The complainant is directed to appear before the opposite party's office with the details of the security deposit of telephone No.253049 of Arakkulam Exchange. The opposite party is directed to refund the amount within 15 days of the application by the complainant. Counsel for the opposite party has undertaken the matter. Hence the petition is dismissed.
