ORDER BY HON’BLE PRESIDENT- MR. P.K. PADHI:

                                                                                         JUDGMENT

            This case was heard on 04.12.2019 and reserved for order but order was not pronounced for which matter was placed before us but none present for complainant and Officer of opposite party No.2 is present. This is a year old matter of 2018.

            Notice complainant was sent to appear but did not appear and it appears that he has not interest to prosecute the consumer complaint. Mater relates to release of subsidy.

            As per the settled position of law as decided by Hon’ble National commission in the case of Himanchal Weavers Pvt. Ltd. Vrs. Himanchal Preadesh Financial Corporation & Ors. 1993(3) CPR 285 failure to provide subsidy as promised does not constitute consumer dispute as such complainant cannot be said to have hired services for consideration for providing service. Accordingly we find no merit on the consumer complaint and the consumer complaint is dismissed. No cost.
