All parties represented.The Learned Counsel for Claimant submits before this Forum the letter dated.20/09/2007 and 20/11/2007 written by Senior Superitendent of Post Office, Meghalaya Division to Senior Post master Shillong GPO and to the Claimant respectively where it is mentioned that after enquiry it was established that the Claimant s entitled to get the claim amount on encashment of the NSCs and KVPs of her deceased husband.

Heard Learned Counsel for Opposite Party who mentions that original documents were never produced before the Post Office /Opposite Party for encashment.

Accordingly this Forum directs the Opposite Party to settle the claim of the Claimant within one week of submission of the original documents as legally required by the Opposite party to settle the claim.

Case disposed off.
