| Final Order / Judgement | Order No. 2 Dated: 02.07.2024 Today is fixed for admission hearing. The complainant is present. Heard. Considered. On perusal of the complaint petition coupled with annexure it appears that complainant Sourendra Nath Dutt has filed the instant consumer complaint on 18.06.2024 against Samsung India Electronics Pvt. Ltd and 6 others and OP-1 carries their business at 10A, Lala Lajpat Rai Sarani under Bhawanipore P.S., Kolkata -700020 and the address of the other OPs is beyond the jurisdiction of this Commission, even the address of the complainant is outside the jurisdiction of this Commission and from the Annexure ‘C’ it transpires that name of customer is one Souren Dutta. It is evidently the said document does not tally with the other document as annexed with the complaint petition. In view of the above, we are not inclined to admit the consumer complaint in its present form due to want of cogent document and territorial jurisdiction and the same is rejected accordingly. However, the complainant is at liberty to file afresh on the cause of action with cogent documents in appropriate Commission or court of law, if so advised, and if not, otherwise barred by law. | |
