The petitioner is present along with his advocate .The O.P represented through their counsel is present. A joint petition for compromise has been filed by the parties with a prayer to issue an order as per the term of the compromise arrived at the instance of the Lok Adalat.

Perused the same. The dispute is settled at Rs. 1,42,400/- payable by the O.P New India Assurance Company Ltd by way of A/C payee cheque in the name of Block Development officer, Lanjigarh.

I am satisfied that the compromise is made voluntarily and the same is lawful. Hence the petition for compromise is allowed with the following direction:-

The O.P is directed to pay the above said settled amount of Rs.1,42,400/- only by way of A/C payee cheque in the name of Block Devel0pbment officer Lanjigarh within four week from the date of this order, failing  which the O.P shall be found to pay interest @ 9% per annum form the date of filing of this complaint petition dt.17.04.2023 till its realization case disposed of accordingly. Extract copy of this order be provided to the O.P free of cost for compliance.
