Heard both sides. Admittedly meter attached to the premises of petitioner is faulty from 9/04 and faulty meter was replaced on 11/08. Opposite party in their version stated that they are ready to issue fresh bill in accordance with terms and conditions of supply Regulation 33 (2) & 3 of 2005.
In the result disputed bill is cancelled. Fora order the opposite party to issue fresh bill for Rs. 2400/- to the petitioner . Petitioner is directed to pay the said Rs. 2400/- in 5 equal monthly installments. Opposite party is also ordered to pay an amount of Rs. 750/- as cost of the proceedings. Cost can either be paid directly or to be adjusted in future bills. Petition disposed accordingly.
