The Complainant files undertaking not to supply power supply to other consumers as directed by the Forum.

            This order arises out of petition filed by the Complainant seeking interim relief for restoration of power supply to his premises. The case of the Complainant is that he is physically handicapped person and holder of BPL card bearing No.322128. The Complainant is a domestic consumer of electricity bearing consumer No.DDS-34459 and he pays the electricity charges regularly. He has no arrear electricity dues but the O.P without any rhyme and reason has illegally disconnected power supply to his premises. Mr.Dey, Asst.Manager(Legal) appearing for the O.P. submitted that power supply has been disconnected to the premises of the Complainant as he extended unauthorized connection to his brother. Advocate for the Complainant submitted that the Complainant is ready and willing to furnish an undertaking not to extend unauthorized connection to others. In such a position, when the Complainant has filed an undertaking  before this Forum today to the effect that he shall not to give any power supply to any other person from his premises, we direct the O.P. to restore power supply to the premises of the  Complainant within 3(three) days of receipt of copy of this order. Further, if the Complainant is found to have extended unauthorized connection to anybody from his premises, the O.P. may disconnect power supply with proper evidence.

Since the relief sought for in the C.D.Case is almost same as that of interim petition, the present C.D.Case is disposed of without any cost and compensation.
