Today is fixed for admission hearing.

Ld. Advocate for the complainant is present. Heard Ld. Advocate for the complainant on admissibility of the complaint petition.

On scrutiny of the complaint petition it appears that the complainant resides within the P.S.-Bishnupur, District-Bankura which is outside the jurisdiction of this Commission and the instant consumer complaint has filed against 2 OPs wherein OP-1 carry their business within Park Street P.S., Kolkata-700016 i.e. within the jurisdiction of this Commission and the OPs-2 carry their business at Memari, Purba Bardhaman i.e. beyond the jurisdiction of this Commission which will attract Section 34(2)(b) of the CP Act, 2019 and the complainant has not availed of the said section for filing the instant Consumer Complaint.

In view of the above, we are not inclined to admit the instant consumer complaint in its present form due to lack of territorial jurisdiction of this Commission and the same is rejected accordingly.
