Parties are represented. In the Present case on 31/07/2020 Complainant went to the ATM of Punjab National Bank at Kuarpar for withdraw of Rs.5000 and while punching ATM card in the ATM Machine by applying the pin code number etc. Suddenly light became off due electricity failure and the amount of Rs.5000/- was not received from the ATM but the said amount had been debited from the account. Hence, the case as brought by the Complainant for claiming Rs.5000/- only along with other compensation.

Today we have heard both sides and it reveals that the said Rs.5000/- had been paid by the Complainant.

Considering the fact that the Complainant had to file the case in order to recover the amount of Rs.5000/- only by engaging advocate it is ordred that the O.P. Bank shall pay an amount of Rs.5000 to the Complainant towards the cost of litigation.

With the above order the case stands disposed of.
