                                      The case of the Complainant in short is that he is a Consumer under the Opposite Party bearing Consumer No. 609598 of Asian Gas Service of Phulbani. On 24-01-2015 he booked for a gas cylinder but unable to get the same till the filing of this case i.e. 04-02-2015. He went to the office of the Opposite Party but unable to get the gas receipt in order to avail the gas cylinder due to large number of people waiting  to get their gas cylinders . On approach, the people of the O.P misbehaved him .Hence, he has filed this complaint for a direction to the Opposite Party to give his gas cylinder at his door steps within reasonable time.

                                    The Opposite Party was set exparte in this case on 16-03-2015 as he failed to attend this Forum in spite of getting notice on 26-02-2015 as reveals from the peon Book.

                                    We have heard the complainant and gone through the complaint petition and the documents filed by the Complainant in support of his case. The Opposite Party is not interested to contest the case. It is seen from the refill booking delivery history filed by the Complainant that he has booked for a gas cylinder on 24-01-2015 bearing booking No. 391895 but unable to get the same . Non supply of the gas cylinder in time by the dealer of the Asian gas service amounts to

deficiency in service on the part of the Opposite party. As per provision mentioned in the Gas booking Book supplied by the Opposite Party to the Consumer, the dealer should supply the gas cylinder through home delivery process. But the O.P failed to supply the Gas to the Complainant not even by hand. Hence, the Complaint filed by the Complainant is allowed exparte against the Opposite Party. The Opposite Party is directed to supply the H.P Gas cylinder with Gas through home delivery process to the Complainant within 7 days of his booking henceforth. The O.P is further directed to pay Rs.500/- to the Complainant towards litigation cost and compensation.

                                    Supply free copies of this order to both the parties. The C.C is disposed-of accordingly.
