This appeal is directed against the order of the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum, Puducherry in Consumer Complaint No.78/2007, dated 14.03.2014 in dismissing the complaint.
2. Last occasion we have heard the arguments of the respondent/O.P. and posted the matter today for appellant's arguments. Both the parties were present before this Commission and agreed for a settlement. As per the compromise between them, the respondent/O.P. has returned a sum of Rs.4,900/- being the value of the saree purchased by the appellant/complainant. The appellant/complainant also received the same and reported that the appeal could be disposed of noting the same. 3. The appellant/complainant has made an endorsement stating that he has received the money from the respondent/O.P. and also made an endorsement withdrawing the allegations made by him against the respondent/O.P.
4. Hence, the appeal stands closed recording the compromise entered into between the parties. As far as the saree is concerned , as agreed between the parties, the same has been returned to the respondent/O.P.
