               The complaint was filed by the complainant U/S 12 of the Consumer Protection Act 1986 alleging deficiency in service in collecting extra amount above the government rates along with a prayer to direct the opposite party to refund Rs.110/- collected from him for extra charges and to pay a sum of Rs.50,000/- towards compensation for the mental agony caused to the complainant along with cost of the proceedings.
Opposite party written argument filed.  Notice of transfer served on complainant. No representation for the complainant in spite of information given from commission and providing sufficient opportunities.  Hence, this commission posted this matter today for appearance of complainant or for dismissal.  Today also there is no representation.  Matter passed over and called twice to file written argument and to make oral argument but there was no representation.  Hence, we are of the view that there is no purpose in keeping the complaint on file.  Hence the consumer complaint is dismissed for non prosecution.  No cost.
